I help manufacturing companies to realise their circular ambitions. As an expert practitioner of circular economy, I have gained experience through individual and collective company business projects, helping to turn ideas into specific actions. This often involves small, achievable steps that allow you to reduce risks and uncertainties bit by bit and to systematically grow your circular knowledge and experience.
In my supervision of circular innovation, I combine different aspects: technology (materials, product design, etc.), operations (processes in production and services, (digital) traceability, etc.) and economy (revenue model, cooperation in the chain, financing, etc.). In addition to my many years of industrial experience, I have considerable knowledge of related methodologies (concepts CE, systems thinking, facilitation of change processes and groups). Moreover, for each of the domains I am able to bring in my broad network of experts from inside and outside Sirris.
In addition to guiding companies, I share my industry insights through publications and tools, such as the Cesar Tool, and blogs on the blog page.
With my engineering degree (obtained in 1993 at KU Leuven), complemented by experience in various industrial organisations and companies from recognised environmental experts on mechanical engineering, quality and engineering to business process analyst, I have a broad view on industrial value chains and business processes. I brought all this to Sirris in 2011.
